The management of investment and properties lies in restructuring and developing the land, properties and other fixed assets of CNSC and in executing a strategic operation of capitals within the business circles of CNSC and its subsidiaries. The purpose of the management is to achieve a circulation-oriented optimization of asset structure and appreciation of its market value.

The emphasis of investment and properties is to restructure its current businesses or to make strategic investments in relevant projects. Being involved in financial markets and fully making use of financial tools, CNSC aims to optimize its business and asset structure in order to achieve an appreciation of the total value of the company.

At present, CNSC is constructing an “AAAAA” intelligentized office building with catering facilities. This is expected to create an influential CBD atmosphere in northern part of the city. As the first phase of complete project, the construction of “Fortune Tower” was started in 2003 and will be completed in 2005. This building is 99.9 meters high with 27 levels above ground and a 4-level basement underground, covering a space of 83,000 m².

Asset Management Department, CNSC Hainan Service Center and Property Management Center of CNSC are engaged in investment and properties.
