To accomplish the strategic goal, CNSC invested and established Fortune Magnesium Co., Ltd. in 1999. With an advanced technology in the world, Fortune Magnesium Co., produces fine magnesium powders that are widely used in military, melting, aviation and electronic industries. Its products are exported to US, EU and Asian countries.

In 2000, as the holding company, CNSC established Wuxi Universal Steel Rope Co., Ltd., which is engaged in production of all kinds of steel wire ropes. Pursuing the two guidelines of Chinese government which are “Go out and explore African Markets”, Wuxi Universal Steel Rope Co., Ltd. has set up Egypt-Alexandria Wire Rope Factory in Alexandria Free Trade Zone of Egypt to produce for EU and Africa. Overall, Wuxi Universal Steel Rope Co. has successfully made an important step forward towards the goal of internationalization.
